First, to get Lugia, you need to recruit Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres, and Kyogre. Hint:You don't need their freind areas to recruit them. Once you recruit them, you get their freind areas automanically. Zapdos is in Mt. Thunder, Articuno is in Mt. Freeze, Moltres is in Mt. Blaze, and Kyogre is in Stormy Sea. (You need to have the freind bow to recruit them). Once you get all of them, go to the Pokemon square. Notice Alakasm isn't in his usual place. He is by Charizard, Tyranitar and Lombre. Talk to him. Say ye. Then go to the Legendary bird's freind area. Then go to Silver trench. DO NOT RECRUIT ANYONE. Lugia is a big pokemon. Just Lugia. (Remember, Bring the friend bow).

There are eight ranks in pmd:rrt
1. This is the ranks in which you start the game with/saving caterpie
2. Normal rank: 0-49 rescue team points-first rank after you become a rescue team
3. Bronze rank: 50-499 rescue team points
4. Silver rank: 500-1499 rescue team points
5. Gold rank: 1500-2999 rescue team points-alakazam's and blastoise's teams have Gold ranks
6. Platinum rank: 3000-7499 rescue team points
7. Diamond rank: 7500-1499 rescue team points
8. Lucario rank: 1500 rescue team points-final rescue team rank and you get a Lucario Statue.

Kyogre is in Stormy Sea on B40 floor. If you defeat it, it will join your rescue team, even if you don't have its friend area, Seafloor Cavern.

Fire stones can be found on floor 29 in FireyField.

You can find the water stone on the 29 floor innorthwind field.

In Purity Forest, the only pokemon you canrecruit is Celebi, and that is if you manage toget to the 99th floor. This takes some real skillto do, and you have to be very good to beat it,since you start out at level 1.

At a certain point in the game you will unlock astage called Joyous Tower, about the same time asyou unlock that you will most likely to unlockthe joy seed. The joy seed, when eaten, raisesthe pokemon that ate it by ONE lvl. This willmake non-item evolution easier.

Get to Lucario Rank, and after that Lucarioshould be in the square. He will challenge you toa battle, and he should join your team after youwin. Have all of the friends area.

In order to get Mew, go to the Buried Relic. When you defeat the Regis and get the Music Box, DON'T PLAY IT. Instead, just keep it in your toolbox. From the 36F on, Mew may appear randomly. NOTE: Mew is not considered a boss. It will appear just as a normal pokemon. You must also have the friend area Final Island.

The second to fifth time you battle Arcticuno, itshould join your rescue team.

After you defeat Ho-Oh on Mt. Faraway, take akey and go to the thirtieth floor. Since youquicksave before you enter the dungeon youshould carry an escape orb. On the thirtiethfloor behind a locked door you will find anextremly rare item called the friend bow. Itmakes recruiting pokemon easier.

First of all, just know that Ancient Relic has100 floors. On the 15th, 25th, and 35th floors,you will have to battle and defeat Regirock,Regice, and Registeel (in that order). You willget 3 stones by defeating all 3 of the Regis-red, blue, and yellow. Once you have all threestones, they will create a music box. This boxplays an enchanting tune that will bring to you aspecial gift. Just wait until the right time touse it(in Ancient Relic). I refuse to sayanything else. What the music box brings is asecret that's up to you to find out!

Some Pokemon require the use of items to evolve, such as stones or ribbons. Here are the locations of those items:

When you battle Groudon you should have a wateror grass type pokemon with you. Groudon only hasweak attacks (unless they're super effective)andif you keep throwing attacks at him like watergun and razor leaf, he should be defeated inabout 7-9 turns. It might help if you broughtlots of blast seeds(they do alot of damage) Idid this with a machop and chickorita.

Absol becomes one of your team members when youget chased by Gengar and them all.

In the far-off sea, get to floor 50 with a keyand open the key door and there will bewideslash.

The Stormy Sea has 40 floors. On the 40th floor,you will have to fight Kyogre, so unless you oryour partner, you're goin' to lose.

There are 25 floors in Sky Tower and 9 floors inthe Sky Tower Summit.

When your in the sky tower where Rayquaza is. Ifyou get to the top and you cant beat him Isuggest you train in those last 10 Floors overand over again until you can beathim$$$69$$$

Once you get enough Rescue Points, you're Rank will be higher. The following shows how many Rescue Points you'll need to get a higher Rank:

If you are inside a Dungeon,and if your partner faints(the one that you pickin the start of your game), you will have toescape the dungeon and start all over. There is a30% chance that if you bring a friend from afriend area, that pokemon will not be your friendanymore. You will lose ALL the Poke you had withyou if you lose. You will also lose half of yourItems you had with you.

If you lose against a pokemon, and you think ishard such as fighting Scarmory, Moltres, orZapdos, go to Tiny Woods and Train with yourpokemon so you have a better chance of beating itnext time you go there!

Special Band raises the special attack of thepokemon that holds it.

Red Rescue Team Cheat Codes

Grass gummy raises the I.Q. of the pokemon it isgiven to. It also slightly fills thierbellys. Grass type pokemon like it best.

Blue Gummy raises the I.Q of the pokemon thateats it. Water type pokemon like it best.

Plain Seed doesn't really do anything. When eatenit slightly fills your belly.

Green gummy is a food item that raises the I.Q.of the pokemon of the pokemon that ate it.Italso slightly fills your belly. Bug type pokemonlike it best.

The Silent Chasm has 9 floors

The Magnetic Quarry Pokemon Beldum, Metang, andMetagross.

Raises the pokemon's I.Q. Dragon type pokemonlike it best.

Reviver Seed is an item that can revive a fainted pokemon. It becomes a plain seed afteruse. When held it revives only the user. After it's used it becomes a plain seed. Only pokemon with their I.Q. on Item Master can use it.

A food item thet makes the user sleep. Thepokemon will be unable to do anything. It alsoslightly fills the pokemon's Belly.

Escape Orb allow s your rescue team to escape from the dungeon.

After you beat zapdos your gona end up somewerewere you have to choose were you want to go pickMt. Blaze get to the top and you will have tofight moltres. GOOD LUCK!

Mt. Steel has 9 floors.

There are 10 floors in Uproar Forest.

There are about 10 floors in Mt.Thunder. Afteryou reach the 10th floor, you will enter the peakand be able to save. Then you will have to scale3 more floors in order to face Zapdos.

Statues

Successfully complete the indicated task to get the corresponding statue:

Bonsly: Successfully complete all 21 mazes at the Makuhita Training Dojo.
Lucario: Get 15,000 Rescue points and earn the 'Lucario' rank.
Mime Jr.: Successfully complete a * ranked mission in a 99 floor dungeon.
Weavile: Successfully complete a * ranked mission in a 99 floor dungeon.

Recruiting Deoxys

After recruiting Lugia you will gain access to the Meteor Cave dungeon. Put only three huge apples in your inventory. Choose one Pokemon to enter the dungeon; it must be level 100. Defeat one mirage Deoxys per floor to advance to the next. Get to floor 20 and defeat Deoxys when he is in front of you. Deoxys will join your Rescue Team and you will gain access to the enclosed island friend area.

Recruiting Mewtwo

Mewtwo is at Western Cavern on the 99th floor. You can unlock it by recruiting all the Legendary Pokemon before him including Ho-Oh, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres, Kyogre, and Groudon. Western Cavern is a difficult dungeon, and you will be able to recruit almost all of the fully evolved forms of the nine starting Pokemon. To recruit Mewtwo you must defeat him with only one Pokemon in your team. When you get to floor 98, dismiss two of them and prepare for a battle. Mewtwo has about 900 HP.

Team base

After you defeat the Mankey Gang in Uproar Forest, Jumpluff will give you one Peeled Chestnut. Give it to the Mankey Gang to pay for construction of your team base. You only need two more Chestnuts from Uproar Forest. You usually cannot find them until Floors 7 or 8. Your Pokemon peels a Chestnut to make it a Peeled Chestnut. Once the construction is complete, your base will look like your Pokemon's head.

Buried Relic

Always enter the Buried Relic dungeon with at least two Huge Apples or food items. Otherwise when you get to about floor 50, you will faint from hunger.

Evolving

After defeating Rayquaza, you can go to a cave next to the Wishcash Pond. Your partner will ask if it can leave you and go to its Friend Area. Select 'Yes' and you can enter the cave. Inside, a stone will ask if you want to evolve. You can evolve others by going to their Friend Area and selecting 'Become Leader'.

Once you complete the game, a pit will appear in Wishcash Pond where evolution can be done, However, you must go alone. Try to go to a dungeon. When your partner asks if you want to make team leaders, say yes and become a leader. You can now go by yourself. Enter the pit and there will be a giant crystal that asks if you want to evolve. Say 'Yes' and it will ask for an item. If you give one to it you will have a better chance to evolve. It will then ask again. If you give another item you will have an even better chance. When it thinks you are ready a big beam will appear and you will evolve.

Some Pokemon require the use of items to evolve, such as stones or ribbons. Here are the locations of those items:
